Corrie Cooper (Executive Director)
Corrie serves as the Founder and Executive Director of Truthbase Theatricals Inc (formerly CYT NYC). She started the organization in 2012 in order to invest in the next generation by helping students develop their artistic skills, pursue excellence and, most importantly, to develop their personal character sourced in Biblical values, bringing God glory. She directs the annual spring production, which performs in an Off-Broadway theater in NYC. Corrie has a diverse theatrical background encompassing both performing and production. She has appeared regionally in over 25 musicals and worked on the production team of over 100 corporate events for clients nationally and internationally including MasterCard, Google, NYU, United Way, NY Yankees, “Broadway on Broadway,” and the Drama Desk Awards. Corrie holds a BFA in Drama with a Musical Theater emphasis from NYU/CAP21 and was on the dance faculty of her alma mater for over 12 years teaching tap.
