Emily Davidson Lee (TbT NYC Teacher/Coordinator)
As an experienced performer, teacher, and musical director, Emily is excited to help students bring glory to God as they develop their artistic skills and passion for performing. She graduated from the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre, and Dance with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and recently earned her Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies at Reformed Theological Seminary. While at Michigan, she played roles in a variety of musicals, operas, and sang Disney songs weekly at Mott Children’s Hospital. In 2024, she sang with the St. Petersburg Opera Company’s production of Samson et Dalila. Originally from Dallas, Texas, she currently resides in Manhattan and serves as a Worship Song Leader at Redeemer Downtown. Since 2014, she has taught private voice lessons and helped lead children’s music in schools and churches in NYC, Texas, and Michigan. She recently held the position of Vocal Arts Instructor and Fine Arts Administrator at Legacy Christian Academy. In addition to her musical endeavors, she enjoys swimming in the ocean, exploring new cities, walking her miniature golden Dachshund, Waverly, and cooking with her husband, Grant. She’s delighted to be a part of TbT and to connect with the young artists, staff, and families through the performing arts!
